Pluto in Aquarius (New)

What is planetary magic? Have you ever sat outside under the sky on a very clear night? How many stars did you see? If you live in the city most likely you did’t see very much. If you ever had the opportunity to leave the city for the country and had the time to sit out under the stars you would see a very different picture. So many stars and planet to look at on a very clear night. I hope as a result of this blog that you will have the opportunity to do just that to see our beautiful starry universe.

So how did I get started with planetary magic? I have a few grandchildren and two of them are twins and took an astronomy class in college and they had to observe the night sky for six or eight weeks and write what they saw each of those weeks making a log of the planets. So guess who did that for them because they weren’t able to get up at 5 o’clock in the morning at a dorm school and go outside to observe the planets and also probably for other reasons too!

So that was my job to observe the planets each night and morning and I live in a suburban area however it is not the county where you would see big beautiful stars and planets, however I saw what was necessary. That is how I learn my planets by finding them and writing about how they were positioned in the sky, who they were near or right next too. It was difficult to get up most mornings but once I was up it was very gratifying. Not only did I learn about the planets I also learned about the constellations. Was I practicing astronomy or astrology? I’m guessing a little bit of both!

I was alway interested in astrology as a young girl and teenager, However, I never really learned about anything more than the sun signs of the astrological time periods of the year. As a result of doing this project for the grandchildren I learned about the constellations too. I’ll never forget I was going to work very early one morning as I looked up and the constellation of Leo was overhead right in front of my house up in the sky. I could see the outline of the Leo glyph right up there in the sky. I really could have just sat there and watch the stars and planets that morning, but I had an 8 o’clock class and at least an hour of driving to Brooklyn!

Let’s look at this weeks planetary Magic! 8/22/23

Sun square moon ….Sunny Leo is being squeezed by Scorpio. The water is putting the fire out. You may feel a little grumpy. Leo will be leaving soon so try to gather that sun shine back as Virgo will March in this week and straighten out all your lists and organize you life.

Some happy thoughts after you get out of that grumpy feeling  are Venus squares Jupiter. Love is blooming. Cupid’s arrow may snagged that old love, new love, or self! Remember love thy self first so you can love others. this is a good time to shower some love on one of your best friends …. You! Remember pamper, rest and indulge a little. Give yourself a treat. If you have a love of your life treat that love too!

There maybe some big loves in your life during this transit, romances, affection, pleasure charity, good times, and sweets. It feels grand. Maybe your budget, tummy, and calendar can’t keep up with all your loving? Don’t let Jupiter inflate your desires too much that they explode and cause problems you didn’t expect from this delightful period of time. Venus is the niceties of life and we all want that but too much of a good thing might be being expanded by Jupiter the astrological “Santa Claus” who we all love and adore! So beware of your spending and big heart. Save some for later! Enjoy it though.

Keep it simple! Slow down and  see the benefits of things that have happened in our lives this year.

The full moon in Pieces will help us clear out those things that are no longer necessary to make room for the new that you have wished for after the full moon in Pieces on September 30.

After the retrograde of Venus September 3rd, going direct, spend time during that slow down time visualizing those things venusian! Happy thoughts. 

Also monitor your reactions to situations. You may have the impulses to swipe your paw with harsh words. Venus and mars conjunct.

 The Week of September 4 though September 10

Sow down and plan for the future. Jupiter turns retrograde in Taurus on Monday. Keep you sights on the  those thing you are looking to achieve and how you are going to get there! Jupiter the planet of enthusiasm goes retrograde on Monday, September 4. You could be distracted by people, places and things and miss important details that slip through your fingers!

There’s also a quarter moon in Gemini on Wednesday so focus on the gray matter in the details which is driven on the quarter moon in Gemini. It could provide the missing answer and it could be right in front of you. Did you rush to make a decision that wasn’t yours? The influence of this moon may help to make that decision your own. 

Friday’s Sun-Jupiter trine will help you count your blessing! Maybe your pennies as they say.  The sun trines Jupiter and puts a glow on Jupiter’s possible bounty which we will all want more of. They are both in MATERIAL earth signs and the focus will be on financial security. We all desire to increase those pennies to multiple dollar categories to build our nest egg for the future. We need to look at any  of our spending that may be counterproductive. Where are you spending money needlessly? Can you exchange your talents or skills with others without pulling out your wallet? Maybe volunteer hours for things you need.

Pluto in Aquarius

Move in March 23, 2023 and has been retrograding. Officially will be in Aquarius on November 19, 2024-March 8, 2043

Where is your Pluto in the sky and your birth chart? How has he been affecting you latterly?  He is a dwarf planet who packs a major punch! He has been in Capricorn for 15 years and was probably responsible for COVID along with Saturn.
